Chennai: Union Minister of State for Finance and Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan has accused the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government of failing to strengthen Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and sought to know why HAL and Dassault couldn’t agree on production terms during the UPA regime.
The minister who took to the micro blogging site to assail the Congress, on Sunday tweeted, “Congress -led UPA government failed to strengthen HAL for better bidding prices even as the terms of the bidding were against the interests of the state-owned enterprise. Why did it happen? #RahulGandhiJavabDo.”
