Hyderabad: TRS Jangoan MLA Mutireddy Yadagiri Reddy allegedly used filthy language against the collector, joint collector, and district revenue officer — all women — at an official meet, after these officials refused a proposal to convert six acres of Shikham land (land lying on the margins of water bogies) to build an office, guest house and a Haritha hotel. To do this is against Supreme Court standing orders.

The behaviour of the MLA was brought to the notice of the Chief Minister. This is the second instance of an MLA behaving badly — Mahbubabad MLA Banoth Shankar Naik was arrested on Thursday on the charge of molesting a district collector.

On Thursday, the wives of army and naval personnel staged a protest outside the Jangaon MLA’s house, accusing him of duping them. Several calls made to Mutireddy Yadagiri Reddy went unanswered.
