Telangana most preferred for companies: KT Rama Rao

Mr Rao enquired about the progress of work of industrial parks that are being set up in the state.

Hyderabad: IT and municipal administration minister K.T. Rama Rao on Friday said that several major companies are keen on setting up their operations in Telangana.

Chairing a review meeting with the HoDs of IT and industries departments here, the minister instructed officials to extend complete assistance to the companies coming forward to invest in the state.

He said: “The new companies coming into the state will generate more employment opportunities for the locals.”

The officials informed Mr Rama Rao that several companies that approached the state government have already being given necessary approvals and they would start work on setting up base in the coming months.

Mr Rao enquired about the progress of work of industrial parks that are being set up in the state and also asked the HoDs of each department to submit detailed reports on the development works and plans to be implemented in the coming four years.
