BRS least bothered about solving public issues: BJP

WARANGAL: While the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the center is leading the country towards all-round development, BRS government in the state is least bothered about resolving issues related to various sections of people even after completing nine years of rule, district unit BJP president Rao Padma has said.

As part of the Intintinki BJP programme, party leaders led by Rao Padma visited various colonies in Hanamkonda on Sunday. They explained to residents various developmental works taken up using the funds sanctioned by the central government.

Speaking on the occasion, the BJP district president underlined that although the central government has sanctioned crores of rupees under the Smart City project and other developmental works, BRS leaders are diverting and misusing these funds without taking up the works for which funds have been sanctioned.

She alleged that BRS leaders, instead of providing employment opportunities to youth, are grabbing government and private lands.

Rao Padma said local MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, who has won from Warangal West constituency, including Hanamkonda, for four consecutive times, is least bothered about resolving issues of the people. She pointed out that slums and low-lying areas in several colonies get inundated by flood waters causing severe problems for residents. But neither local BRS leaders nor the state government has done anything to help the flood victims to date.

The BJP district president asserted that for all-round development, there is a need for establishing a double-engine government in the state. People should think wisely and bring BJP to power in Telangana after the assembly elections, she underlined.

Deshani Sadanandam, Narasimha, Hari Babu, Pavan, Padma, Mahendar, Srikanth, Goutham, Shyam and Ravi Teja were among those present in the Intintinki BJP programme.
