Gangula says Cong, BJP plan to merge TS with AP

Kamalakar says that K Chandrashekar Rao, who has the state's interests at his heart, will become Chief Minister for the third time.

HYDERABAD: Civil supplies minister Gangula Kamalakar on Friday cautioned people about “some Andhra leaders, coming in the guise of Congress and BJP leaders are trying to merge Telangana with Andhra Pradesh.”

Speaking to reporters in Karimnagar, Kamalakar said that if the Congress or the BJP came to power, they would merge Telangana with Andhra Pradesh, and called on people to vote for BRS for the third time to ensure K Chandrashekar Rao, who has the state’s interests at his heart, becomes Chief Minister for the third time.

He said “it is unimaginable to think of Telangana without KCR. Do not vote for those who were opposed to the Telangana movement, and hand over power to land grabbers led party, or a communal party.”

On BJP leader and Huzurabad MLA Etala Rajendar’s stating that he would contest from Huzurabad, Kamalakar said, “After claiming he will contest against the Chief Minister, Rajendar is now talking about Huzurabad because he is afraid he will lose to KCR. All Rajendar is busy with is trying to keep himself at the top of the state BJP.”
