Changes in Constituencies Only to Win All 175 Seats: Y.V Subba Reddy

Vishakhapatnam: YSRC regional coordinator for north Andhra Y.V. Subba Reddy defended the changes with regard to in-charges of various assembly and parliament constituencies.

“We want to win all the 175 assembly constituencies. That is the reason why Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has made changes in nominees of various constituencies,” Subba Reddy said.

Speaking to media after participating in Sankranti celebrations in Visakhapatnam North constituency organised by party coordinator K.K. Raju on Friday, he underlined that changes have also been made to give importance to BCs in this election.

The regional coordinator took on TD chief president N. Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that the former CM is wantonly raking up differences among communities. Asked about Mudragada Padmanabham joining Jana Sena, Subba Reddy said he is not aware of such a development.

When told that more than one member of a family is being given a ticket, the YSRC coordinator maintained that tickets are not being given to families, but to those who have strength and popularity among people.
