Hydeabad: TRS president and caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday indicated that he would tour 70 to 80 constituencies from November 15.

After issuing B Forms to party candidates, which entitles them to file their nomination papers from Monday, he told them that the party was strong in about 100 constituencies, and the position of candidates in 20 constituencies including Wyra, Yellan-du, Bellampalli, Nalgonda and Khanapur was causing concern. Mr Rao issued the first B Form to Mr Koneru Konappa of Sirpur, and took the last form. Though he had announced 107 seats, he issued forms to 106, leaving out Nampally candidate M. Anand Kumar Goud. TRS sources said this could be in view of the friendly contest with the MIM.

M. Anand Kumar Goud was working for a ticket from Goshamahal but was picked for Nampally. He had lost to the MIM by five votes in the GHMC elections at Jambagh.

Asked about the 14 seats given to the TD by the Mahakutami, he said he had instructed the party leaders to keep in touch with Opposition dissidents.

Sources disclosed that the party chief had appointed in-charges in 20 constituencies with a clear instruction that they should be stay with the segments till the completion of polling.

Mr Rao said the TRS would show up a tremendous show in Hyderabad. Minister K.T. Rama Rao, credited with the sweep in the GHMC elections, was made incharge of the election campaign in Greater Hyderabad.

It is said that Mr Chandrasekhar Rao will address a public meeting after December 3 in the city.

He has instructed candidates to file their nomination papers accompanied only by five followers who have to abide by the model code of conduct and respect the police and officials.

He instructed candidates to file error-free nomination papers, and consult the helpline in the election control room at Telangana Bhavan in case of doubt.
