My missing phone is with KCR, claims Bandi

HYDERABAD: Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar implied on Monday that his mobile phone, which had gone missing when he was taken into custody, is now in the hands of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, "who is in a state of shock and anger after going through the call list and realising that a large number of BRS MLAs have been in touch with him".

Sanjay's shocking claim came a day after he filed an online complaint with the police about his phone going missing when he was detained by the Karimnagar Two Town police, who arrested him after midnight last Tuesday.

“The moment I say anything, they talk about my phone. The truth is that I had the phone with me from the time I was arrested in Karimnagar till I arrived in Siddipet, and the phone was with me, and I, along with my personal assistant, were in police custody. After that, it went missing. The cops stole my phone and are now acting out dramas. Apparently, the Chief Minister blew his top in anger after going through my phone and seeing a number of BRS MLAs and MPs in my phone's call list," Sanjay added.

Sanjay also stated that he was wrongfully targeted in the SSC question paper circulation case, and demanded that the Warangal commissioner of police A.V. Ranganath release the call list. "I will soon file a defamation case against the Warangal CP," Sanjay remarked.

He also chastised the police for seeking to cancel his bail, asking "if he was a terrorist, his bail should be cancelled". "And why was (BJP MLA) Etala Rajendar summoned for questioning? What offence did Etala commit to be called for questioning? The police must declare what evidence they have against him.” Sanjay demanded.

The BJP state president was speaking with reporters after watching the Telugu film Balagam at a movie theatre near RTC crossroads ehre. "The film beautifully depicts family values and human relationships, which KCR does not understand. His only understanding is of the relationship with ill-gotten wealth. He caused a lot of difficulties for Revanth Reddy during the wedding of the Congress leader's daughter. Just last week, when I went to perform the ceremonies for my aunt who died, KCR had me arrested, clearly demonstrating that the CM does not value family relationships,” Sanjay stated.

The Chief Minister has no understanding of families and what they go through; just look at how he decimated teacher families with GO 317. He also doesn't care what the families of intermediate students who died by suicide went through, Sanjay remarked.
