YS Jagan Mohan Reddy padayatra may start at Anantapur

He participated in programmes from Amarapuram mandal, which is located in Karnataka borders.

Anantapur: Anantapur district – the South-West corner of the state — is likely be the starting point of YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s proposed padayatra.

As per astrological suggestions, South-West corner plays key role and Madakasira segment is located in the south-west corner of the state, even before bifurcation.

Most of the programmes were launched from the South-West corner by the late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and also TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu during their regimes.

Though Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy kickstarted padayatra from Chevella in Ranga Reddy district, he launched many programmes from Anantapur district considering the South-West corner that impacts the headship of a person, according to vastu.

He participated in programmes from Amarapuram mandal, which is located in Karnataka borders.

Meanwhile, Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, too, launched his 1,000-km padayatra from Anantapur district and successfully completed it.

Mr. Naidu mentions at every meeting that the idea of loan waiver scheme flashed during the yatra in Anantapur district along various innovative schemes during his tenure.

Party sources said Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy was asked to plan padayatra from the Madakasira area in Anantapur district that would increase the number of seats to the party. Presently, only one MLA is with the YSRC while 13 MLAs are with the TD.

A senior YSRC leader from the district said they proposed to kickstart the yatra from Anantapur considering vastu and it would also impact the TD’s strong fort.
