CM Siddaramaiah Challenges BJP's Morality Over Criticism of Brand Bengaluru

What moral right do they have to comment on our work?

Belagavi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, responding to questions from reporters at Belagavi Airport on Wednesday morning, challenged the morality of BJP leaders who criticized the state government regarding Brand Bengaluru.

"It has been six months since we assumed power. They were in power for four years, and what initiatives did they undertake for Bengaluru?" Siddaramaiah questioned. He pointed out their failure to address issues such as unfilled potholes, which had led to strictures from the High Court. "What moral right do they have to comment on our work?" questioned Siddaramaiah.

Addressing the opposition's allegations about Karnataka Ministers being in Telangana during the session in North Karnataka, Siddaramaiah clarified that some leaders had traveled to Telangana after they were called there.

"Not all Ministers have gone. Some were after they were invited. Political engagements are also significant. Ministers KH Muniyappa, KJ George, and Nagendra have returned. Only Zameer Ahmed Khan and DK Shivakumar are yet to return," Siddaramaiah added.
