HYDERABAD: For the first time, star comedian Bramhanandam participated in an election campaign, in support of a BJP candidate in Karnataka on Friday. He took part in an election campaign in Chikkaballapur, a district that borders Andhra Pradesh, which has a sizable population of Telugus.
He urged the people to vote for the BJP nominee Dr K. Sudhakar during the roadshow. Addressing the meetings in Telugu, the popular actor said that he has had a long and close relationship with Dr Sudhakar.
As a doctor and minister, Dr Sudhakar has rendered yeomen services to the people, he said.
Bramhanandam visited Pura, Gadaganahalli, Manchenahalli, Poshettyhalli, Kanaganagoppa, Jodi Bommanahalli villages in the Chikkaballapur Assembly constituency.
He was accompanied by Kannada actor Darshan and Lok Sabha member P.C. Mohan.
