Establish call centres in your seats, PM tells NDA MPs

MPs from southern states, Andaman meet Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held separate meetings with NDA MPs from Uttar Pradesh's Kashi, Gorakhpur, and Awadh regions, as well as members of Parliament from southern states, Andaman and Nicobar, and Lakshadweep. During these interactions, Modi suggested that the MPs establish a "call centre" system in their constituencies to create awareness about government schemes, enabling more people to benefit from them. He advised the MPs to use this platform to disseminate information about development works done in their respective constituencies.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister encouraged the MPs to seek feedback from the public on government schemes and their work, which can help in assessing the impact of these initiatives. Modi also emphasised the importance of utilising social media effectively, suggesting that MPs have social media experts in their team to counter Opposition's allegations with facts and to reach out to a wider audience.

Highlighting the significance of connecting with the people, Modi urged the MPs to visit their constituencies frequently. These meetings are part of his efforts to guide and support the NDA MPs in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, which are less than eight months away.

The meetings included the presence of BJP top brass, including party president J.P. Nadda, and Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh. The first meeting was held with UP MPs, and the second round took place with the southern MPs.

Earlier in the week, the Prime Minister conducted the first such meeting with NDA MPs from UP's Paschim, Braj, and Kanpur-Bundelkhand regions, as well as West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
