Malappuram: Home minister Ramesh Chennithala has said that the BJP is more dangerous than CPM and the Congress would take leadership to form a national level alternative to the BJP. “The UDF doesn’t need any certificate from CPM leader Pinarayi Vijayan in its fight against the BJP," he told reporters here on Saturday. “The BJP’s communal agenda will not sell in Kerala. The UDF will not allow the RSS and allied forces to corrupt the minds of Kerala.”
Mr Chennithala also described actor Suresh Gopi, who was sworn in as a Rajya Sabha MP, "a good man in the bad company." He showered praises on the Muslim League for its role in upholding secularism and countering the BJP. Mr Chennithala also lashed out at Opposition leader V.S. Achuthanandan, accusing him of running away after raising false allegations.
