Hyderabad: Telangana state BJP official spokesperson N.V. Subhash asserted that Lord Rama symbolized “ Nyaya and Dharma” (justice and Humanity) and that God does not belong to any religion or caste.
Reacting sharply against the Opposition parties for declining the invitation for the “Pran Prathistha” ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Subhash said, “Opposition parties particularly the Congress have been disrespecting the crores of people who have faith in Lord Rama although it ruled the country for decades. The long-pending demand of the temple became a reality after 500 years, in just nine years. The Congress is busy in appeasing a particular community for political mileage but its workers are keen to visit the temple.”
On the report that UP Congress leaders would visit Ayodhya after January 22, Subhash said, “All citizens of India who have faith in Lord Rama can visit the place for worship just like they visit other historical and sacred places across the country.”
Subhash urged the Telangana state government to take blessing of Lord Rama by declaring an official holiday on January 22 and to release a government order to illuminate temples and perform pujas in order to create a spiritual atmosphere.
