Lekshmi Nair moves Kerala High Court on protesters

Ms Nair sought to ensure police protection for the campus, students and faculty.

Kochi: Kerala Law Academy principal Lakshmi Nair has moved the Kerala High Court seeking to remove the protesters from the college premises. She sought to remove the makeshift tents including the one erected by BJP State president V Muraleedharan.

In her plea, Ms Nair sought to ensure police protection for the campus, students and faculty. She sought a directive to the police to ensure proper entry and exit at the college. She has made Chief Secretary, DGP and others as parties in the case. She moved the court after the police failed to take sufficient action.
