KAKINADA: Home minister Taneti Vanitha and BC welfare minister Ch. Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna visited flood-affected areas in their respective constituencies.
Vanitha visited the rehabilitation centre at ZP High School at Madduru in Kovvur mandal on Sunday. She said that quality food was being supplied to the flood victims in the camp. She said that 40 families from Pallipalem had been accommodated in the camp. She also inaugurated the village secretariat building and the YSR Rythu Bharosa building at Pochavaram in Tallapudi mandal. Kovvur RDO S. Mallibabu and others were present.
Minister Venu Gopalakrishna visited Kammavari Savaram and other areas. He participated in Shrama Danam work to strengthen the Godavari bunds. He visited Kotipalli, where the streets were inundated.
