Woman who received Shiva stole from Modi was former aide of Smriti Irani
The woman who recently received a scarf from Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned out to be a former close aide of Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani.
Modi had gifted a scarf he had worn on the occasion of Maha Shivratri at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore to Shilpi Tewari, after she tweeted a picture of the Prime Minister wearing the scarf. “I want that stole of Narendra Modi,” she had tweeted.
But, it is not the first time Tewari has been in the news. She had made headlines last year as well for sharing a “doctored” video of the incident that occurred at Jawaharlal Nehru University, where anti-India slogans were allegedly shouted.
Overwhelmed to receive blessings of Adiyogi from modern India's Karmayogi, PM @narendramodi, who is covering miles daily yet hears us all! 🙠pic.twitter.com/QoT2pF6kK7
