Bengaluru: As many as 27 engineers attached to department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) have been placed under suspension on Thursday citing dereliction of duties and their suspension will be in force until further orders from the department.
In a press release issued by the office of department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Bengaluru stated that 15 junior engineers, 7 assistant engineers and 5 assistant executive engineers have been suspended after they failed to report to the place they were transferred.
