CM Jagan to submit silk clothes tomorrow at Tirumala

Nellore: AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will present silk clothes to Lord of Seven Hills on behalf of the state government on Tuesday coinciding with the start of this year’s Brahmotsavams, Tirupati collector K. Venkataramana Reddy said on Sunday.

Venkataramana, along with SP P. Parameswara Reddy and joint collector D.K. Balaji, reviewed arrangements for the visit of CM to Tirupati on September 27 and September 28.

According to the collector, Jagan Mohan Reddy will reach Tirupati on September 27 evening and proceed to worship at the Gangamma shrine in Tirupati. He will then flag off the newly electric buses at Alipiri bus station at 6 p.m.

The Chief Minister will then offer prayers at Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple at 7.45 p.m. before entering the holy shrine of Lord Venkateswara to present silk robes to the deity as part of the annual Salakatla Brahmotsavams. He will also participate in the Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva on the four mada streets.

The CM will again have darshan of the Lord on the morning of September 28 and inaugurate the newly built Parakamani building as well as Lakshmi VPR Rest House.

At 8:45 a.m., Jagan Mohan Reddy will leave Tirumala for Renigunta Airport. From there, he will proceed to Orvakal airport by a special flight.

Meanwhile, Tirupati police have carried out Advanced Security Liaison from Renigunta Airport to Tirumala on the routes through which the Chief Minister’s convoy would travel.
