Take action to prevent murders: MK Stalin

He said the murders committed by hired gangs are causing panic among women.

Chennai: Expressing shock over the murder of IT employee Swathi at Nungambakkam railway station in the city, leader of Opposition M.K. Stalin on Friday asked the state government to establish rule of law and public peace in Tamil Nadu.

He said the murders committed by hired gangs are causing panic among women. Stalin said Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa had denied the existence of such murder squads and such a denial would not help the protection of people in the state. He said the Chief Minister should give full freedom to police to prevent such murders.
