Chennai: Third edition of Radiant Wellness Conclave titled, “India tomorrow through disruption in nine dimensions of wellness” highlighting various aspects of intellectual, emotional, health, physical, financial, spiritual, occupational, social and emotional wellness was held in Chennai on Saturday.
Danseuse Dr Padma Subrahmanyam was felicitated with the Lifetime Achievement Award, former tennis player Vijay Amritraj with the Wellness Icon Award, and Mithali Raj was awarded the Youth Sports Icon of Excellence Award at the conclave.
Shashi Tharoor, Anna Chandy, Babu Krishnamoorthy, Dr Sree Sudha Chepyala and Colonel David Devasahayam were amongst the prominent speakers at the conclave.
Tharoor stressed on environmental among others. Urbanisation and industrialisation has changed the meaning of wellness, said Tharoor. “The young workforce of India has numerous opportunities to utilise various sectors and contribute in the overall development of the country,” he said. Dr Ravindranath, Jaya Devi Nina Reddy and Sumathi Srinivasan were felicitated for their contribution and leadership in respective fields.
