Cricket fan dies after suffering a heart attack during India-Australia WC Final

Tirupati: A cricket enthusiast from Tirupati passed away after suffering a fatal heart attack during the Cricket World Cup Final match between India and Australia late on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Jyoti Kumar Yadav, a 32-year-old software professional, who hailed from Durgasamudram village in Tirupati rural.

According to sources, the incident occurred late on Sunday night when the Cricket World Cup Final match reached its peak intensity. Jyoti, who was an ardent cricket fan, was watching the match with his family and friends when he suddenly collapsed due to a heart attack.

His family and friends immediately rushed him to SVIMS Hospital in Tirupati, hoping for medical intervention. However, despite the best efforts of the medical team, Jyoti was declared dead on arrival.

The sudden passing of the 32-year-old has left his family and the residents of Durgasamudram village in shock and grief. Jyoti, the son of retired TTD employee Mandyam Sudhakar, had recently completed his Master's in Computer Applications and was working from home as a software professional. He was known for his deep love for cricket since childhood and often gathered with friends to watch cricket matches.
