Ministers inaugurate Kapu Bhavan, call on Kapus to support Jagan

TIRUPATI: Claiming that the YSRC government is giving equal priority to the welfare and development of the Kapu community, water resources minister Ambati Rambabu appealed to the Kapus to support Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

On Sunday, the water resources minister, along with minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy, inaugurated the newly constructed Kapu Bhavan at the Irukalala Parameswari temple in Nellore. The construction of the building cost ₹6.15 crore.

Ambati Rambabu, speaking on the occasion, highlighted the government’s initiatives, such as the Kapu Nestham programme, aimed at benefiting the Kapu people. He urged the community to recognise the efforts of the YSRC in uplifting the Kapus on par with other communities.

He noted that the previous government had laid the foundation for Kapu Bhavan but failed to complete it. However, he emphasised that the YSRC government had prioritised the completion of the building, demonstrating their commitment to the welfare of the Kapu community.

Kakani Govardhan reaffirmed CM Jagan’s dedication to the development of all communities in the state. He emphasised the significance of the Kapu community in Andhra Pradesh and highlighted the welfare schemes introduced by their government to foster their progress.

He thanked the Kapu community leaders for their support in completing the Kapu Bhavan and assured them that further improvements and amenities would be provided at the facility.
