HYDERABAD: The CBI Court on Wednesday granted two-day escort bail to G. Uday Kumar Reddy, a close aide of Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy and an accused in Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy’s murder. He was allowed to visit Pulivendula in Kadapa district to see his wife and their newborn baby. The CBI Court directed the superintendent of central prison, Chanchalguda, to release Uday Kumar around 8 am on Thursday. He has been asked to return by 11 am on September 16.
The court directed the jail authorities to provide three constables/SI and a vehicle to Uday Kumar Reddy, who will pay for the travel and escort services. He has been in jail since his arrest on April 14 in connection with the Viveka murder case.
