Hyderabad: Two people were killed and two injured while travelling in an auto-rickshaw at Chevella when a truck hit their vehicle on Monday. The dead are Beepasha Begum, 30, and Abida Begum, 45. Their bodies were shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. The other members of their family, Ismail, 40, and Aziz Pasha, 55, were also taken to Osmania hospital and are undergoing treatment.
“The family was returning after visiting relatives at Kothuguda in Vikarabad. When they crossed the Alluru Gate at Chevella, a truck went out of control after suffering a puncture and rammed into their vehicle,” said Chevella police. “The condition of the injured individuals is critical,” the police added. Based on a complaint cops booked a case under Section 304A (death through negligence) of IPC.
