ANANTAPUR: Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy’s convoy was involved in a minor accident. One of the vehicles hit the back of the Chief Minister’s vehicle while on its way to the Idupulapaya Estate in Pulivendula segment on Friday. Lights of both the vehicles were broken in the impact of the minor hit. The police teams in the convoy immediately stopped the vehicles.
The Chief Minister got into another vehicle in the same convoy and proceeded to the helipad on the guest house premises and reached Kadapa airport from where he flew to the Gannavaram airport by a special aircraft.
Sources said the driver of the vehicle right behind the CM’s car, unable to notice the front vehicle slowing down, inadvertently hit it. No one was hurt.
