Gadwal Police ties up with SBI for Financial Education & Savings Plan for Personnel

Hyderabad: Jogulamba Gadwal police have initiated a programme to prevent corruption and save money from salaries. Keeping in mind the money issues that the personnel may face, district superintendent of police Ritiraj has tied up with the SBI to provide financial advice.

Following the SP's directions, additional SP N. Ravi has organised an awareness programme for police staff on how to save money and invest. SBI officials provided suggestions on savings and investments.

SBI chief manager Anil Raju informed the staff about the benefits of having a salary account in the bank through the police salary package account. Awareness was created about the benefits of investing in systematic plan, public provident funds, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana Scheme for education of the girl child and Smart Scholar, among others

Additional SP Ravi underscored the importance of saving for the children by financial planning.
