AU arts exhibition evokes good response

Visakhapatnam: The Fine Arts department of Andhra University, through the efforts of its students, successfully captivated the attention of Vizag residents with their art exhibition. The exhibition effectively highlighted the burgeoning talent of these young artists dedicated to the pursuit of fine arts.

The inauguration of the exhibition was officiated by Arts College principal Prof A. Narasimha Rao and OSD Prof V. Krishnamohan. The diverse array of art forms and sculptures crafted by the students were prominently featured.

BFA and MFA students skillfully expressed social messages through their pencil, watercolour, and canvas paintings. The artworks, both paintings and sculptures, provided insightful glimpses into the students' perspectives on Indian traditions, people's lives, cultures, and societal challenges. The sculptures, meticulously fashioned from materials such as clay, wood, iron, bronze, and recycled materials, left a lasting impression on visitors, prompting contemplation.

The art exhibition will continue till November 6.
