AICC observer Mohan Joshi claims party is strong in Mancherial district

ADILABAD: AICC observer for Peddapalli parliament constituency and former MLC from Maharashtra, Mohan Joshi, has said the Congress party is strong in the Mancherial district and would win all three seats in the next elections.

Addressing a meeting of party leaders in Mancherial, he recalled that the district stood first in enrollment of the digital membership. Party leaders and activists must strive to further strengthen the party from the grassroots before the elections, he said.

Former MLC Premsagar Rao and DCC president Surekha briefed about the services the party undertook during the Covid-19 period and about the distribution of one lakh Bathukamma saris to poor women. The party also helped the needy in colonies to get potable drinking water during the summer, they said.

Mancherial RTC bus depot private workers association president Renka Ravi, secretary Md Nazir, leaders like Ramesh Kumar and Venkateshwar Rao, and 70 others joined the Congress party in the presence of DCC president Surekha and Premsgar Rao. PCC spokesperson Venkataramana and youth Congress leader Vinod Patel were also present.
