Hyderabad: Transport minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar met the actor Junior NTR here on Tuesday and invited him for the unveiling of 54-feet-tall statue of TD founder and former chief minister N.T. Rama Rao in Khammam on May 28.
The statue was installed to mark the birth centenary of the late N.T.Rama Rao. The 54-feet-tall statue including a 10-feet basement, is being installed at the Lakaram Tank Bund in Khammam at a cost of Rs 2.3 crore.
Ajay and members of the TANA had donated to install the statue, together with industrialists, businessmen and NRIs. Ajay said that he met Junior NTR to discuss the arrangements being made for unveiling of the statue.
