Vijayawada: Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), the popular political consultancy firm, has denied that it conducted a survey on poll prospects of various political parties ahead of next year’s assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
I-PAC tweeted from its official handle in this regard on Thursday, after a media channel in Andhra Pradesh reported poll survey news attributing it to I-PAC.
Though the consultancy firm has not named the media channel, it is obvious it is referring to a Telugu vernacular channel, which telecast a report on a purported survey conducted by I-PAC.
The consultancy firm said: “Let's set the record straight: I-PAC does not conduct any surveys. Any survey attributed to us on media / social media platforms is entirely untrue. These are baseless and desperate attempts by certain individuals or groups,” the I-PAC team said in the tweet.
