Telangana: Jamaate-Islami to hold 2-week Seerat'

Milad-un- Nabi marked an important day in the Islamic calendar as it referred to the birth of the Prophet.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Zone of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) has decided to launch a two-week Seerat Campaign from December 3 throughout the state to pass on the message of Prophet Mohammed. Mr Hamid Mohammed Khan, president of Jamaat-e-Hind Telangana state and Odisha, told mediapersons Milad-un- Nabi marked an important day in the Islamic calendar as it referred to the birth of the Prophet.

He appealed to the Muslim scholars, intellectuals and students to cooperate in successfully organising the campaign. The All India Majlis Tameer-e-Millat, a leading organisation of the Muslim community, stated that it would organise celebrations on December 2 and 3 at Nizam College Ground in city.
