Centum for CBSE schools in Class X

Winning streak of central region continues.

Kochi: CBSE schools in the central Kerala region, comprising Ernakulam, Kottayam, Idukki, Alappuzha and Thrissur, which scored cent per cent in Class XII board exam results, continued their sterling performance in Class X results declared on Tuesday. The schools which returned three top national rank holders, Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara, Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad and Rajagiri Public School also came out with excellent results.

All 79 students at Bhavan’s Varuna passed. There are 17 A1 in all subjects, 73 distinctions and six first class. At Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School, all 200 students passed with 35 scoring A1 in all subjects, 183 scoring distinction and 17 scoring first class. At Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery, all 167 students passed with 45 securing A1 in all subjects and 157 achieving 75 per cent and above. At St Sebastian Public School, Udayamperoor, out of all 27 students passed, 19 got the distinction and eight first class.

At Shobhana Public School, Muvattupuzha, out of all 121 students passed, eight got A1 in all subjects, 89 got distinction and 32 got first class. At Sanjo CMI Public School Koduvely, all 39 students passed with eight securing A1 in all subjects, 36 getting the distinction and 3 getting first class. At Lisieux English School, Vaikom, all students passed with six students securing full A1 and 23 scoring distinction. At De Paul Public School, Nazareth Hill, Kuravilangad, all 113 students passed with 17 getting A1 in all subjects and 93 getting the distinction.
