Kochi: Jose Dominic, former managing director of CGH Earth Group, will promote two traditional Jewish residential properties at Jews Street at Mattancherry as bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation. The first property named AB Salem House will be opened in October and the second named Ezekiel House in December.
The two properties are adjacent to the synagogue in Mattancherry, said Mr. Dominic, who stepped down as MD of the CGH Earth Group a few months ago.
Speaking to this newspaper on the sidelines of KTM on Friday, Mr Dominic, who described himself as a tourism entrepreneur, said the two properties having rooms would offer a unique experience to the visitors.
The Ezekiel House will have a café attached to it, from where guests can avail their choicest foods, he said. The surrounding areas also have a variety of eateries offering a good number of choices to the guests.
Mr Dominic is also having an estate bungalow at Madukakunnu Farm on Ponkunnam-Pala Road, which provides the discerning visitors an exposure to the diversity of farming in Kerala.
The farm grows pepper, nutmeg, chillies, turmeric, ginger, papaya, banana, rubber, fruits, vegetables and herbs. The rooms will cost Rs 9,000 including meals.
