Coimbatore: The father of a Muslim murder suspect has petitioned the district collector seeking action against NIA (National Investigation Agency) personnel for seeking the Interpol’s help for issuing a red corner notice for his son who is presently at Oman.
The NIA personnel are involved in probing the murder of Hindu Munnani spokesperson Sasi Kumar. A few months ago, they raided the house and saw mill of 35-year-old Mohamed Rafeedhul Asan at Sai Baba Colony. Despite sending him summons and asking him over telephone to appear for an enquiry at their office, Mohamed Rafee did not turn up.
