Hyderabad: Delay in PGECET counseling is giving sleepless nights to candidates who cleared GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). They are at risk of losing AICTE scholarship of Rs 12,000 per month.
For rankers joining M.Tech courses either in government or private colleges, AICTE gives the monthly stipend for the entire two-year duration of study. All that they need to do is submit admission details of their PG course and college they have joined before September 15.
With August nearing end, they are left with little more than two weeks to complete the formalities. However, there is no word from the organisers on when the last phase (exercising web options) will begin since certificate verification was completed for GATE rankers on July 20.
