Shashank Tyagi, a parent and corporate employee, said as he and his wife both are working, they are now forced to take leave on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: Most working parents have to take leave or work from home on Tuesday as most schools in Cyberabad have declared November 28 a holiday because of the traffic restrictions in the area on account of VIP movement for the global summit.

Silver Oaks, Manthan School, Maharshi Vidhya Mandir Kondapur, Meridian, and Phoenix School are totally closed while DPS, Chirec Rock-well, Oakridge, and San-ta Maria have declared a half day. Parents receved a text message on Monday from their respective schools about the holiday on Tuesday.

Shashank Tyagi, a parent and corporate employee, said as he and his wife both are working, they are now forced to take leave on Tuesday. “Schools should have pl-anned this holiday well in advance,” he said.

Manish Saha said that schools will now make a weekend day a working day to make up, so we have to plan our weekend accordingly.

Anjali Razdan, vice chairperson of Sahodaya Schools Complex Association for CBSE schools said that since the Prime Minister’s visit will be by chopper, there would be minimum traffic disruption and Ivanka Trump’s event is also post 3 pm, so we have declared a half day on Tuesday because it does not warrant a full day holiday.
