Hyderabad: Prominent political leader and Member of Parliament, Asaduddin Owaisi in response to the recent death sentences handed to Indian ex-naval officers in Qatar, took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) saying, "In August, I had raised the issue of our ex-naval officers stuck in #Qatar.
Today they have been sentenced to death. @narendramodi has boasted about how much “Islamic countries” love him. He must bring our ex-naval officers back. It’s very unfortunate that they face the death row. In August, he had initially raised the issue of the ex-naval officers who were reportedly stuck in Qatar, and he has been closely following their case ever since.(sic)."
