Vijayawada: In the next two years, the state will be able to offer 2 lakh jobs in the IT sector, minister Nara Lokesh said. He performed Bhoomi Puja for the new IT Tower to be built by L&T, and Hitech City Limited, beside Medha Towers at Kesarapalli, near Gannavaram on Thursday.
Mr Lokesh said the new tower would provide 4,000 IT jobs on the premises of Medha Towers. He informed that the companies like HCL, Cognizant are going to set up shop in Amaravati. “IT companies are coming to Amaravati due to confidence in CM Naidu and a belief that AP would provide efficient manpower, in the wake of his efforts in developing Hyderabad as Hi-tech city.
By 2019, the target of the state is to create 2 lakh IT jobs, Lokesh assured.
