AP first in corruption-free governance, says minister

KAKINADA: Revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao underlined that the state government is bringing in reforms in all its departments to ensure that people get the best of services.

The minister participated in several programmes in the Gopalapuram assembly constituency on Sunday, along with East Godavari district in-charge minister Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna and Gopalapuram MLA Talari Venkatrao.

Prasada Rao pointed out that the YSRC government has brought in many changes in the Enam Act. As a result, Andhra Pradesh has become the first state in providing corruption-free governance to people in the country, he pointed out.

The minister said under the leadership of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, lands in the state are being resurveyed so that landowners are provided documents that have a clear title. He underlined that the resurvey is being carried out in the most transparent manner.

Prasada Rao also inaugurated the tahsildar’s office at Gopalapuram, which has been built at the cost of ₹1.51 crores.

East Godavari district collector K. Madhavi Latha, Rajamahendravaram MP Margani Bharat and Rajanagaram MLA Jakkampudi Raja were among those present.
