Kashmir fraudster failed in Class 12, but learnt 6 languages and married 7 women
Bhubaneswar: Sayed Ishaan Bukhari, a Kashmir youth who was arrested recently in Odisha’s Jajpur for his suspected “terror links” and impersonating as doctor, had failed clear Class 12 examinations. However, the cunning youth went on to learn six languages in the later phase of life. With his fluency and flair knowledge on certain subjects, he managed to enamour girls and married seven of them. Such startling facts have come to light after the Special Task Force (STF) analysed the call detail report (CDR) of Bukhari.
The CDR, sources in the STF said, reveals Bukhari's suspected terror links. Bukhari has chatted with several people – both in India and abroad - on WhatsApp. It is also learnt that the deleted voice messages have been retrieved by the investigating agency.
The investigation progressed so far revealed that Bukhari transacted money from nine bank accounts.
The investigating agency has found that the arrested youth is proficient in six languages like Hindi, Urdu, English, Bengali, Odia and Marathi.
A police team from Kashmir will soon reach Odisha to interrogate Bukhari, sources said.
The investigating agency is probing into different angles, including who are the people linked to Bukhari and since when they were associated with him.
Only after the completion of the probe, a clear picture is likely to emerge on Bukhari and his exact links with anti-national elements.
On December 16, the STF conducted a raid at Bukhari’s rented accommodation in Jajpur district’s Neulpur and arrested him. He was staying in the area for seven years by impersonating a doctor. On certain other occasions, he also impersonated a senior official in the Prime Minister’s Office and a National Investigation Agency official.
The STF has found that Bukhari had set up a mobile phone application and was in touch with several girls. He was also allegedly taking commission from the girls who were involved in nude call chats. He was also in touch with two girls from Odisha, informed sources.
The STF suspects that Bukhari was allegedly using girls to honey-trap victims.
The investigating agency found that Bukhari had nine savings accounts in different banks, including IDBI, SBI and Central Bank with huge deposits running into several crore rupees.
The STF is also trying to unravel the mystery behind Bukhari marrying multiple girls in different parts of the country and establish if it was part of the love jihad conspiracy or some other reason.
Bukhari has married at least seven girls from various parts of India, including Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Odisha.
