Bhainsa (Nirmal): Former MP and actress Vijayashanti has said she has not only fought against feudal lords on screen, she also has to take on ‘doras’ like KCR in real life.
The Congress graph is climbing higher and higher in Telangana state, while the TRS graph is coming down.
She may visit her native village Ramannagudem in Eturunagaram in old Warangal district if she gets time during the election campaign amidst her hectic schedules.
Star election campaigner Vijayashanti was in Bhainsa to attend Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s first meeting. She spoke on various issues with the Deccan Chronicle.
“We have done roles in movies and we are also witnessing the feudal attitude of doras live. What is happening with KCR in politics and how he is cheating the people with false promises and grabbing money and enjoying the Chief Minister’s post and doing nothing for the people of Telangana is out there for all to see,” the actress turned politician said.
“People have realised KCR’s feudal attitude and are going to defeat him in the next elections. I had expected that KCR would do something good for the state but he did not,” Vijayashanti said.
She added that the people of the state had realised that they had chosen a wrong person as Chief Minister and this time they were going to vote for the Congress.
“We have been getting good response from the people during our election campaign,” Vijayashanti said. She was speaking while on election campaign in Mahabubnagar and added that she was going to campaign for the party in Nalgonda, Warangal and Karimnagar district.
