Hyderabad: The blasts that ripped through the first floor of the building at Krishnanagar also affected the two buildings flanking it. Even late in the afternoon, the scene near the explosion appeared gory. Broken doors and window panes of all three buildings, footprints of blood that were seen till the road, cracked walls, damaged household articles strewn all over-all pointed out to a ghastly scene of disaster.
Till late Friday evening, residents of the buildings were seen waiting outside their homes. A neighbour Durga who was at home with her children when the explosion took place, said, “It was completely dark and there were sounds of heavy blasts coming from above. I was at the gate feeding our pet, when the explosions took place. All I could hear were the cries of my kids from inside. I don't remember how I brought them out!” Durga's husband Sudhakar also works in the film industry. They reside in the ground floor of the building which is G+3 and also have a penthouse.
Prabhavati, who lives in the neighbouring building, said all the household articles came down and the door also broke by the blast impact.
