Crackers were burst and sweets distributed at Cherlapalli Jail and the bomb site in Dilsukhnagar.

Hyderabad: As the news about the death sentence for Indian Mujahideen co-founder Yasin Bhatkal and four others broke in the city, there was jubilation particularly among those affected by the 2013 twin blasts in Dilsukhnagar which the five men were convicted for.

Crackers were burst and sweets distributed at Cherlapalli Jail and the bomb site in Dilsukhnagar. “The news comes as a relief to hundreds of families whose loved ones died or were injured in the twin blasts. Though it is over three years since the blasts, people especially those affected, still remember the tragedy,” Ramnath Kashi, a resident, said.
