Bengaluru: Before the pre-monsoon showers hit the city, Bengaluru’s power utility, Bescom, found it easy to blame power cuts on the lack of rains and water in state dams. Now there are power cuts for a different reason-there’s too much rain and Bescom can’t get its act together with major parts of the city experiencing recurrent power outages, one lasting more than eight hours on Thursday!

What are you doing Bescom?” Gunavathi Arunkumar too vent her frustration on Bescom saying, “Why again no power in Ulsoor area what work do u guys have post an 8 hr power cut?”
