Nellore: A Class X (SSC) student Chimakurthy Prasanna, 15, studying in Saint Arnold High School in Medarametla of Prakasam district committed suicide by hanging with her chunni in the school hostel on Friday.
According to the hostel staff, Prasanna told her roommates that she will come to the class later when they were leaving for school about 9 am on Friday. However she hanged herself to death after they left.
She belongs to Bapatla in Guntur district. Parents of the girl squarely blamed the school management for the death of their daughter. Medarametla SI Y Panduranga Rao and Addanki CI Bethapudi Prasad rushed to the spot and elicited information on the incident from the students. They sent the body for post mortem. The CI said that they will know whether it is suicide or murder in the investigation while reacting to the parents' complaint.
