Bengaluru: Holiday rush! Avoid Majestic area today

All buses going towards Mysuru, Kodagu and Kerala will start from Mysuru Road Bus Terminal.

Bengaluru: In view of the holiday season and expected rush towards Kempegowda Railway Station and Kempegowda bus terminus at Majestic on Tuesday, the city traffic police have made following changes in traffic to ensure smooth flow of traffic.

All private vehicle parking is prohibited on Dhanvanthri Road, Railway Station Road, Tank Bund Road, Platform Road and Khoday’s junction on Tuesday.

All buses going towards Mysuru, Kodagu and Kerala will start from Mysuru Road Bus Terminal. Buses going towards Tamil Nadu will start only from Shanthinagar Bus Terminal.

Buses going towards Davanagere will start only from Chikka Lalbhagh Bus Terminal. All long-distance idle parking of transport buses is restricted to Balekai Mandi, Jakkarayanakere, NGEF Terminal and New Peenya Bus Terminal.

The police have requested people travelling outside the city to take BMTC buses or autorickshaws to reach the railway station or bus station. Road users who are not going outside Bengaluru are requested to avoid K.G. Road, Goodshed Road, Seshadri Road, Subedar Chattram road, Platform Road, Krishna Floor Mill Road and on all routes leading to the central railway station and Kempegowda Bus Terminus between 4 pm and 11 pm on Tuesday to avoid traffic jams.
