Hyderabad: Hyderabad School Parents’ Association have alleged that the professor Tirupathi Rao Committee has missed another deadline to submit the report on school fee hike and regulation. The committee was supposed to submit the report on Wednesday.
Parents alleged that the school education department and professor Tirupathi Rao promised to submit the report on November 15 at the last meeting. The committee was waiting for schools to upload their data and the parents were informed that 4,000 schools submitted the data. Ashish Naredi, a member of the Hyderabad School Parents’ Association, said, “This is a clear sign that the government is not serious about the fee regulation. The report was supposed to be submitted on Wednesday as it was promised to us. The report is ready. However, the government is not accepting it under pressure from the private schools’ lobby.”
