BHUBANESWAR: Clicking selfie with a murder accused has cost dearly to the inspector-in-charge of Chandrabhaga Marine Police Station, Bulu Munda, who was transferred to the district police headquarters.
The transfer order was issued by superintendent of police Umashankar Das after Munda’s selfie with murder accused Radha Mohan Biswal alias Munna went viral.
According to sources, Munna was the prime accused in connection with the murder of a youth at Alasahi under Astaranga Police limits and was absconding after committing the crime. Later, Chandrabhaga Marine Police had nabbed him on Monday.
After his arrest, Munna was being taken to Nimapara Police station when Chandrabhaga police inspector purportedly clicked a selfie with him inside the police van.
