Kakatiya University non-teaching staff stir continues

They plan to hold a Maha dharna in front of the administration building on Friday and observe pen down on Saturday.

Warangal: The Kakatiya University Non-teaching staff protest has reached the third day on Thursday. The staff members have been appealing to the administration to address the issues related to their pay and fill of vacancies among others since a long time but the University V-C has been postponing their appeals.

The staff members decided to agitate and have been protesting in some way or the other for the past three days. On Thursday, they took out a bike rally from the first gate till the SDLCE building raising slogans against the administration. P. Narayana Rao, NGO’s association president said it is high time the university administration opened its eyes to the problems of the non-teaching staff members.

The workers warned that they would intensify their agitation in the coming days. They said they would hold a maha dharna in front of the administration building on Friday and observe pen down on Saturday. Members of several associations took part in the rally.
